Debbie Cameron
I have been involved with the cat fancy for over 30 years having grown up in a family that bred and showed Persians. My love of cats grew and in the late 1980’s I started showing and breeding Chinchilla, Shaded Silver and Golden Persians. Dabbling with beautiful Smokes and Himalayans and my commitment by working at shows in various capacities such as Show Manager and Show Secretary, I felt that I needed even more involvement and I gained my Companion Judges license in 2003. Enjoying this new side of judging led to my long term goal in becoming a Group One Judge in 2005. I am a member of the NSW Cat Fanciers Management Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the NSW Ku-Ring-Gai-Cat Club as well as being on the committee of various local clubs. In my spare time I work full time in Local Government managing a large team of Community Development Workers and enjoy the company of my cats and dog, Eddie. 8 Spence
