Tom Marshall
Since 1988, with my wife Margaret, I have been involved in breeding and showing cats under the Marshallpark prefix. Burmese was my first breed, then British Shorthairs, Scottish Folds and a Persian.
In recent years I have concentrated on British Shorthairs, having imported several of this lovely breed from New Zealand and the UK. Many Cat or Kitten of the Year awards have been won by Marshallpark exhibits. Cats I have bred are now being loved and shown with a great deal of enthusiasm in Europe, New Zealand, Hawaii and Hong Kong.
I have held various positions with Cat clubs, and over the last few years have stewarded consistently at many shows. It has been an ideal opportunity to learn about all breeds from many knowledgeable judges. My appreciation and thanks go to them for their tuition and assistance.
Interests outside the cat fancy include travelling, horses and attempting (often with limited success) to keep our 5 acre property at Rossmore neat and tidy.
