NSWCFA Catching Up Magazine The NSWCFA Management Committee ask our members for feedback on the possibility of our magazine changing to an on-line format. This would be available from the NSWCFA web site, which is undergoing a rewrite and would save the Association a considerable sum as well as overcome some difficulties with the printed issue. Members who are unable to access an online magazine would have a copy printed from the CFA office and posted. The magazine could be archived on-line and being a web issue, could incorporate considerable photo displays. If this is not agreeable, the magazine will be reduced to 3 issues a year. Feedback is needed to the NSWCFA office by 1st April. NSWCFA Management Committee meetings. Our meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month and are open to members to attend in the gallery if desired. Members attending may not speak however. It would be appreciated, as a courtesy, that anyone planning to attend, notify the CFA office to ensure sufficient space and chairs are set.

2012 SYDNEY ROYAL EASTER SHOW Letter received 7th December from the RAS NSW. The RAS have declined Associate Affiliation with NSWCFA as they do not wish to abide by our Constitution and By-Law. For our members, attention is given to the relevant clause in our By-law pertaining to their membership and this show - 7 Judges licenced by NSWCFA and its accredited stewards and its members may not participate in any capacity, except as an exhibitor or visitor, at a show conducted in NSW by any Other NSW Governing Body or one of such Body’s affiliates. This By-law was ratified at the 2007 General Meeting by a 100% vote of the members present. Therefore, our members may exhibit at this show, however, no awards will be recognised. This means no challenges, no cat of year points and of course, no CCCA awards are possible since it is not a CCCA show. NSWCFA is greatly saddened by the turn of events which has led to this situation, after many years of co-operation with the RAS. A disclosure of the timeline of events is now available in the Member Area of this site.
